D-Day Survivor: A Combat Veteran Douglas C-47 Begins Restoration at the Robins AFB’s Museum of Aviation

A Douglas C-47 that flew on D-Day and during the Battle of the Bulge is undergoing a meticulous restoration at the Museum of Aviation, where it will be returned to its June 1944 combat configuration for public display.
